The Memorial

What started out as an idea for a brass plate in a field hammered into place by myself, has now grown into a 1 metre square brick built plinth with an inscribed insert of marble positioned alongside the village monument in the centre of Blairville village, with a full Ecumenical Ceremony of Remembrance and wreath laying.

Pictures will be attached as the project develops.

A big thankyou to all contributors who have kindly donated to this project; I shall add a list of names on completion but would like to take this opportunity to express my sincere thanks to you all for your continued support :-

This is how I am hoping the plaque will look when completed. (Central Image is to be made seperately.)
